- From a more academic-like standpoint, Venus Rising centers on the viewpoints of fertility experts and authors, as well as surrogates and egg and sperm donors.

- While most podcasts focused on egg donation come from the stances of the intended parents, this episode entails Holly Smith’s account of her experience as a 6x egg donor.
